Georgios V Chalet

I booked what I understood from the listing to be a stone house-style chalet, a suite with a fireplace, and paid for that. But the room we were given looked nothing like the photos confirmed with my booking. I've included pictures. When I contacted the property, they said the stone chalet wasn't available and that, since I'd booked just one night, I could sleep in the room they'd provided. They also said that next time I should message them separately to get the stone-style chalet. I thought that was what I'd already booked based on the listing. The photos and description set an expectation the room didn't meet, which was disappointing.

The traditional suite was clean and romantic, in a peaceful area very close to Kalavryta town. This is by far the best accommodation in the area. I'll always remember Miss Aphrodite at reception for her kindness and hospitality!

Waking up to the forest outside the window was wonderful. From the balcony, the view was amazing, and the room's stone walls and old-style furniture made it feel like living in a castle. The fireplace was great, and the heating kept the room warm even while it was freezing outdoors. Breakfast was good and served in a lovely, spacious room. There's also a cozy lobby bar with a variety of drinks. The staff were professional and hospitable, and shared useful tips about the area. The place could use a little renovation, especially the bathroom, but I still had a great stay and would like to come back. Highly recommended.

The junior suite was lovely and warm, with the fireplace kept stocked with wood. Breakfast was filling, and the room was fairly priced. The scenery was very nice too. The hotel sits on a hill outside Kalavrita city.
