Orias guesthouse & farm

The location and views were wonderful, and Orias was just what we wanted: somewhere near Kalavryta with things to do with our two-year-old. Giannis and Chrysanthi welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh eggs from their chickens, and the room service was discreet. They provided everything we needed without us even having to ask. Thank you, Lola. Our child will be talking about this vacation for days. The chef was on leave, unfortunately, so we’ll have to return and try the food, which I imagine will be awesome and super fresh, farm to table. Thanks, Orias team, for such a great time!

You slip into a zen mode as soon as you arrive at this amazing place for a getaway. The rooms are beautifully designed and super clean, and Giannis is always there to help and share information on where to go and what to see. Make sure you have dinner there, the food is divine and the service really friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit, and we’ll definitely be back!

The setting was beautiful, but the stay itself fell short, and I felt we had wasted our money. The rooms had poorly done, DIY-style furniture, and the mattress rested on a wooden frame that made it uncomfortable. The fireplace smoked, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the wooden window frames let too much warmth out. We also weren’t told before booking that the heating is switched off for four hours each day. I’d give the location four stars, but the overall experience only two.

We came here to recharge and found just the place we needed. The people working at the guesthouse were kind and welcoming, and they really wanted us to feel comfortable. Stamatis made a great breakfast, especially the omelet, and the owner, John, helped us figure out things to do nearby. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.
