The owner insisted we pay an extra 200€ before leaving, saying we'd made a mistake with the fireplace wood. He hadn't discussed it with us and made us pay for what he called an “accident.” I've never had anything like that happen. The stay itself was awful: we were there for two nights without hot water or heating, and the fireplace didn't work. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. WiFi was available but didn't work, and there was no normal signal either. The atmosphere wasn't welcoming, and none of the advertised things were actually provided. Choose somewhere else for a trip to kalavryta.
