Cozy apartment n Stavros Niarchos Park

We booked for a full week, but left the apartment on the first evening because there were bugs all over the beds and walls. The owner offered no comment and no refund. Please be careful and do not book this apartment.

I rarely write reviews, but after seeing two others mention bugs, I wanted to share more reasons to be cautious. We asked the Airbnb host about checking in early and got no response. By the time we found the neighborhood, which did not feel like a tourist area, a worker was still cleaning the apartment. It reeked of smoke, and I believe he or someone else had been smoking inside. The white sheets had several random stains, with dirt and crumbs on them. The supposedly white towels were dirty and brown, and more than half the toilet paper roll was covered by an unexplained stain. The Wi-Fi did not work, and the signal only reached the balcony. We tried contacting the host again but could not reach them. I did not even go into the kitchen. I spent hours looking for somewhere else, because if I had stayed, I would have had to sleep sitting up on the coffee table. This might be an okay place if cleanliness and location do not matter to you.
