I regret booking this place. It seems badly neglected since the renovation, with no proper cleaning or maintenance. The oven was so dirty that nobody should cook or eat from it, and the leaking sink had developed mold because no one fixed it. There was a box of condoms and cockroaches on the balcony, and the elevator was broken and dirty. I spent 15€ on cleaning supplies and a day trying to clean, though I couldn't get much done. I hope no one else has to deal with this. It's a safety hazard, and I plan to report it to the health authorities. Avoid it.

The apartment has a nice veranda, sofa, and living room, and it's handy for cafés and a supermarket. Kallithea Train Station is about a 15-20 minute walk away. It was reasonably clean and easy to reach from the road, with an outdoor lift, though it takes ages to get to the top floor. There were a few ants in the kitchen, and without a shower screen, water ended up all over the bathroom. Nice enough for a weekend in Athens. You get what you pay for.

The grounds are filthy, with trash that isn't shown in the pictures. Inside, it's dusty, smelly, and old. This place is exactly as it looks, except for all that mess outside. You really do get what you pay for, and unless you don't mind dirty, neglected accommodation, I'd find somewhere else. I wouldn't even bother reading another review before booking elsewhere.

The noise made it impossible to sleep, with loud music and drunk shouting in nearby apartments going on until 6 am. It seems apartments meant for two can end up hosting groups of 10-15, probably because there's no supervision and no soundproofing. The building has no on-site administration, and messages can go unanswered or take six hours, so sometimes you have to ask twice. Getting hot water also takes planning: switch on the heater and wait around 20 minutes before showering, which isn't great when you come home tired. The metro is a 20-minute walk, then about 30 minutes to the center; a nearby bus also takes around 30 minutes, while a taxi costs 10-15 euros each way. If Athens' main attractions are your priority, I'd choose somewhere else. Good for night parties, bad for a regular stay.
