The bathroom needed more attention. The toilet seat was stained, there was no “sanitized” seal, a bit of toilet paper had been left by the toilet brush, and the outside of the bin could have been cleaned more often. We also found long hairs on the nightstands and furniture, plus a pack of gum under one nightstand that was easy to see in the mirror. We’d asked for a higher-floor room so it would be quieter, but never got a reply. Instead, we were put right beside reception. The door lets in every sound, from people passing through to slamming doors and conversations, which wasn’t great after a long day of travel. The stay was okay, but these details don’t match what I expect from a five-star hotel. I hope they improve.

I got some great sunset photos from here. The staff were cheerful, polite, and ready to help, and they spoke several languages, which made it easier to understand each other. The room was clean and modern, with a balcony. They cleaned every day and brought fresh towels, and having an iron in the room helped me a lot. We were pleased with the hotel. Congratulations ❤️

Once we’d unpacked, it was clear we couldn’t draw the curtains, day or night, because people on the street could see straight in. The bathroom was dirty, and the walls seemed paper thin. We heard shouting, music, and even animal noises, and couldn’t sleep. At check-in, they said there’d been a mistake and we’d have to spend two nights in a room below street level before moving. We’d written ahead to ask about the room and were told everything was fine. It felt like they’d lied so we would show up and pay. We were exhausted and hungry after an eight-hour drive, so we accepted the room. The following day, after putting up with all of this, they refunded us and we left as quickly as we could. Our stay was terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

The pool was great, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, simple, and elegant, with a minimal design.
