We booked only a few days before arriving in Istron. Dimitra showed us to the apartment, and that’s when we noticed there was nowhere to put clothes: no closets, dresser, or drawers. For a full week, that didn’t work for us. After seeing that the other apartments were arranged similarly, we decided to find somewhere else to stay. The apartment itself is nice and well located near the beach. There’s also a lovely bakery next door with excellent coffee and wonderful pastries.

The lady was so kind, and it was great that she speaks both English and Greek. The rooms are really nice. The internet was the one small problem: the quality was low, it lagged, and it disconnected many times. Still, wow, we had a great time!

I came for two nights this summer, felt so comfortable that I added two more. Giannis and his family were lovely and helpful, and made me feel at home. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a great view. Just what I needed for a few quiet days to relax and clear my head.

The two-bedroom apartment worked very well for our family of four, and could even suit five. Both bedrooms had large, comfortable beds and everything was very clean. There was a small terrace off each bedroom, plus a bigger one by the dining area. It was very good value for money. The nearby bakery opens at 7 am, which was a big help for breakfast, and there’s a supermarket close by. Everything you need is nearby.
