Haus Eleonas

The yard is large and great for kids to play in, and the beach has sunbeds guests can use for free. The kitchen has the basics for cooking a meal. But I rented an apartment, not a studio, and the fridge was very small. The bed frame also needs attention: three or four boards kept falling onto the floor when I sat on the right side. No one mentioned that you have to ask for fresh sheets and towels, and I only found that out after four days. The beach and sea aren’t among the best you’ll find in Halkidiki, and the town feels a bit dead. The setting was decent, but at 90€ a night I don’t think it was worth the price.

We spent ten lovely days at House Eleonas in July 2022. The rooms were clean, pleasant, and equipped with everything we needed, and every one has a sea view and a beautiful balcony. Our hosts were kind and spoke English and German. The whole property is pet-friendly, with a lovely yard full of little details and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the day or evening. There are two grills as well. The beach is about 200-300 meters away along a white pebble path, shaded by pines all the way. Each room gets a free beach set with a bed, roof, and curtains; the rest of the beach is public. There’s a covered parking spot for each room. Finding the place was easy too, since the small road off the main road is marked with a House Eleonas sign.

Great for a bigger group, maybe 3-5 families. It’s clean and cozy, with no stress or noise, and the kids will stay busy all day. We’d go again, 10/10!

The breakfast was delicious! The accommodation has its own beach with sunbeds, and the landlady is very kind and helpful. It’s also nice and very clean. 👌
