Aglaia Studios

The owner was so kind, even arranging pick-up and drop-off at the port. It’s about a 20-minute walk or a quick four-minute drive. We had a 5 PM ferry, and he let us leave our bags and use the outdoor shower before heading off. There’s also a lovely swimming spot just 20 steps down from the accommodation, perfect in the morning or evening. A cappuccino machine in the suite meant no need to go out for coffee. This is a fantastic hidden gem in Sifnos. The rooms are modest, but the deck is the real highlight, with sweeping harbor and sea views that are magical at sunrise and sunset. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

We watched the sun rise from our bedroom, and the private swimming platform right on the ocean was wonderful. The staff were incredibly helpful, including picking us up and taking us to the ferry. It’s great value, and an easy walk into the port for meals. There’s also a fantastic restaurant about 100 metres from the hotel. This place is a hidden gem, and we’ll absolutely be back.

We’ve stayed at Aglaia studios twice, for a couple of days in late July and early August, in both 2023 and 2024. Antonis and his family are lovely and accommodating, with such warm Greek hospitality. The rooms have spectacular views across Kamares bay, and you can swim from the private pier. The sunsets from the rooms are out of this world. I’d highly recommend Aglaia studios as a base for exploring Sifnos.

Antonis and his family were friendly and helpful throughout our perfect stay at Aglaia Studios. The bay views are gorgeous, there’s a place to swim, and the beach and restaurants are just a few steps away. If we come back to Sifnos, we’ll stay here again.
