Ventus di Milo

For our early ferry, staff couldn’t serve breakfast 30 minutes earlier, but they offered us boxes instead, which we appreciated. Service was polite. The room was comfortable and had a nice boho-chic style, though privacy was a real issue: from the way the balconies and hot tubs are arranged, practically everyone at the hotel can see you. It felt awkward relaxing outside or having breakfast at the table. Ventus di Milo is quite isolated, which makes it peaceful and quiet, but the bumpy road in was hard to find. Even with the setting’s potential, it didn’t feel worth €400/night and fell short of expectations. We wouldn’t stay here again if we returned to Milos. I’d save your $ and stay in Plaka instead.

All transport to the island was shut down because the weather closed the ports, so we couldn’t get there. The hotel refused to reimburse us for that night. The management team doesn’t put guests first, and I strongly advise against staying here. It felt like they only cared about making money from us, and there are many nearby hotels that are superior. Do NOT stay at this hotel.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and made us feel like cherished guests. It took me ages to write this because I wanted to keep this gem to myself. It’s just so perfect, and we’ll be back this year. Greetings from a Polish doctor :) The views are breathtaking, whether you’re having coffee on the patio or relaxing by the pool. The rooms are beautifully designed, with modern comfort and elegance, and every detail feels thoughtfully chosen while still being cozy. We travel a lot, and this charming boutique hotel is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh local ingredients. The homemade jams and rich Greek yogurt with honey were a treat, but the omelette was the best I ever had!!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to make things comfortable. I’d absolutely stay here again. The views and sunrise at Ventus di Milo are breathtaking, and the property is well-appointed with tasteful, elegant decor. One thing to know is that this place doesn’t work without a rental car. In Milos, having your own vehicle is a must. Breakfast could be more flexible: the food is delicious, but you have to choose everything the night before. It’s not a major inconvenience, just not ideal, and they might consider a more flexible setup in the future.
