Golden Rose Suites won us over right from the start. We’ve trusted it with our holidays twice in two years, and we’ll definitely return. It’s a lovely option for a proper stay, with a peaceful setting, a clean place, wonderful service, and warm people to welcome you, like Eleni.

The host was really nice and helpful, and breakfast was very good. It was the same each day, but there were plenty of choices, including omelette, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, croissants, cereal, pancakes, and pastries. The rooms were large and very clean, in a quiet area. The bus stop is just a 2 minute walk away, though I'd recommend renting a car to explore the beautiful west of the island.

The rooms were spacious, with balconies and a dining area, and everything was very clean and tidy. We were two couples, though the place would work for families with children too. There’s a lovely pool and garden, and the food was excellent, with generous portions and prompt service. The hosts were so warm and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended!

We spent a week at the hotel and would definitely come back to Chania for another stay. The staff were super friendly, the rooms clean, and breakfast wonderful. Five out of five!

The couple running the place were so nice and always ready to help. The rooms were very clean, with good mattresses. There's a pool big enough for a bit of swimming, and a quiet beach just a 10 minute walk away.
