The rooftop at sunset was a highlight, and there's a bus stop very nearby. You can also walk to a really quiet beach. My room was very clean and the staff were lovely throughout. From booking to checkout, everything went smoothly. I always received kind replies to my emails, and I had a wonderful stay. I'll definitely book here again when I return to Crete.

The bus station is within walking distance, and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The beach is calm and beautiful, good for a walk or swim, and having a car gives you access to plenty of hidden gems a short drive away. At Louladakis Apartments, the owners made the stay feel personal. They shared local tips, checked that we had what we needed, and responded quickly and warmly whenever we had a question or request. The staff were kind and attentive too. The apartment was among the cleanest and best kept I've stayed in, from the spotless bathroom to the cozy bed, and the owners clearly take pride in it. Unlike many trips where you feel on your own after check-in, here we got help whenever we needed it. Leaving was hard, and I felt nostalgic as soon as I had to go. It felt like home, and I know I'll return to Louladakis Apartments when I'm back in Crete. We had an unforgettable stay and felt genuine Greek hospitality.

The location was okay, but it's about 1300m from the beach, not just a few meters. I walked there the first night, though I wouldn't recommend doing that. The towels were decent, but the beds were the worst I've experienced in Greece. The tub is short even by Japanese standards, and the toiletries are just a small bar of soap about the size of a quarter and a shampoo sachet. The AC was useless. On the second night I left the room unlocked at 5pm, since you have to leave the physical key in for it to run and it's too old for cards. Five hours later, the room didn't feel any cooler than outside. It is quite cheap, but not enough to make up for the difference in facilities compared with other nearby places.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and in a great location. If you don't have a car or bike, the bus stops right outside. The guys were always ready to help us, and we got Cretan hospitality at its best. I also liked their very green approach to running the business. I'd definitely return.
