Thalori

We’d gladly return to Thalori just to eat. The restaurant’s food is rustic, incredibly delicious, and freshly made with local ingredients. We spent three nights in a Thalori Suite, enjoying a kind of relaxation we rarely find. The village itself doesn’t have much to offer, but the quiet is remarkable, broken only by the bells of grazing sheep. Our room’s rustic-looking bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the large terrace felt private, with views of the sea and mountains. The pool area has stunning views too. It’s a remote mountain village with traditional but comfortable accommodation, just as we’d hoped.

The restaurant was a real highlight. Dinner had two or three changing daily dishes, plus four other dishes you could always order, and everything we tried was amazingly good. Breakfast was fresh and super tasty, though I thought the menu could use a few more options. The staff were really friendly, and the beautiful pool was a lovely place to relax. Set up in the mountains, it’s a great spot to hike, mountain bike, or ride horses, and to spend a couple of days away from the crowds.

The view and surroundings were breathtaking, and the prices seemed reasonable. We stopped for breakfast after horse riding and really enjoyed the food. The staff were super friendly. I can highly recommend this phenomenal place.

The owners were very hospitable, and the local food was the best part for us, really tasty and superb. We were a big group of tourists on a special retreat. The location is very unique, and the rooms are original and very clean.
