We loved the view of Zakynthos and the pool looks lovely, but several things left us disappointed. Breakfast cost 24 EUR and felt poor and repetitive for the price. For two people, we got just two cherry tomatoes. There was no water served with breakfast, and no vegan choices. The owner decides what breakfast is, so if you don't like it, that's that. Although the place is pet friendly, we felt the owner was bothered that we brought our dog. The atmosphere felt very sober, and we didn't feel welcome. I wouldn't recommend it if you're hoping for a nice experience.

What we remember most is how peaceful the place felt, and the lovely people we met there, who made our last night memorable. The whole property feels new and is very well looked after. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The AC was 10/10, and there was plenty of parking. The pool area was extremely clean too. Rodi studios is in a perfect spot if you want somewhere quiet to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us a full list of places to eat, beaches, and other spots to visit. We tried most of their recommendations. The food was fresh and delicious, and I lost count of how many Freddos I had :) Special thanks to Zoe, who was always kind and made us feel welcome. The owner is a Kefalonia native and gave us great tips on where to go and what to eat. Thanks to those suggestions, we explored the island like locals. We also loved the locally sourced breakfast, especially the fresh honey and yogurt. Rodi Studios is beautifully cared for, with a clean, minimal style that made us feel at ease. The terrace views were stunning, and the pool was just right for a refreshing swim. We had an unforgettable stay and can't wait to return. If you're after somewhere quiet and stylish to unwind and enjoy Kefalonia, this place is a lovely choice.

One of the best parts was the setting below Mt Ainos. I felt drawn to do a mindfulness yoga practice most mornings, then cool off with a swim in the generous pool. It was glorious, a real oasis of calm. We'd stayed in this area before, but this was our first time at Rodi Studios, tucked down a quiet lane in Karavados. Nora and Kimon run the place with care, and the recent renovation is to a very high standard. The rooms and property have a simple, stylish feel while keeping that distinct Greek charm. Nora and Kimon were attentive without hovering, as was Zoe. The two women who cared for the rooms did a beautiful job each day. We felt looked after, and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, with local produce, which our tummies appreciated. There was also a tasty light menu available through 8pm, handy on days when we stayed by the pool. I really can't fault this peaceful place. Highly recommended.
