Green Bay Hotel

The family and staff were lovely and friendly, and the pool was nice, though its steps needed cleaning. The room was at the top of the hill, with no shade until early evening, so it got very hot. WiFi didn't reach inside, and we had to use the balcony. Building a hotel on a mountainside can be difficult for some guests, and this one is out of town. In the evening you have to walk along the “main road” to get food and a drink.

A good place for a quiet getaway. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day, and the towels were changed. It's secluded but not far from Sami, and Karavemilos taverna is within walking distance. You really need a car to see more of the island, which is amazing. We walked to Sami on the first day and it took an hour; a taxi costs 12 euro. The pool was fine, but at almost 4 metres deep, 3.60 m was too much for me. Breakfast was okay too.

The hotel is well placed for exploring the whole island, with easy access. Staff were extremely polite and accommodating, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

A nice, quiet place with basic accommodation, and the staff were really lovely and helpful. The hotel is a little outside Sami, in a pleasant area. Our room was simple but clean and had what we needed. There was daily housekeeping, with towels and sheets changed every other day. Each room has a patio or a cute balcony. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day. It was very average, with typical Greek options: ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, honey, jam, toast, bacon, sausages, and warm pastries. It's a good choice on a budget, as long as you're not looking for a luxury hotel.
