Akti Beach Club

There are plenty of beds and several pools, depending on whether you want to relax or have fun. A few minutes’ walk takes you to the hotel’s beach area, where there are lots of loungers. Snack bars and drink machines are nearby, so you can top up whenever you like. The staff, from the cleaners to the managers, were amazing and tried to help with everything. Our room was nice, cleaned daily, and had fresh bedding and towels. There was a great choice of food, with something different each day, so we always found something to eat.

We stayed in the adult-only section, in a spacious room with a shared pool, though that area was shaded and didn’t get much sun. The rooms were clean and tidy, and you get free pool towels and a safe key when you check in. There’s a good choice of drinks, but the bottled cocktails were sometimes undrinkable. The hotel is huge and quite a trek from the nearest town, though it does run a free bus. The food was good but repetitive. Breakfast could get hectic, and the woman making omelettes was so slow that the wait for your turn could reach 15-20 minutes. When it rained, water flooded the area right outside our room. We couldn’t get out, and had to put a towel against the door to keep the rain from coming in. I’d call it a 4-star place, not 5.

We’ve stayed here six times and will be back again. The rooms are cleaned daily and come with fresh towels, and there’s a free bus into Kardamin and back. It’s in a great location. There’s lots of food, and something for everyone. Breakfast is superb, and the food is always great. I especially like the show cooking, Chinese dishes, and freshly made pizzas with wafer-thin crusts. Well worth a visit.

We’re already looking at booking again for next year. Our family has been coming here for 15 years, and the place just keeps getting better. The food and drinks are excellent, and the bar staff are great. Hotel manager George is a true gentleman. I also want to give the gardeners credit for the lovely plants, palm trees, and gardens across the large complex. They’ve done an amazing job. I honestly can’t recommend the hotel enough for families and couples. If you see a bad review, I think it’s nonsense. Thanks again, akti, for making our holiday memorable 💖
