Kazarma Lake Resort & Spa

The setting is beautiful, with a panoramic view, and you really should see the dam if you come here. Our room was small, but we only used it for sleeping. The staff were genuinely helpful and kind, and we had a great time.

The dinner at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has a warm, old-fashioned style of decor, in a good way, and our room was spacious with a lovely wood fireplace that actually works. The staff carried our suitcases to the room, so the many stairs weren't an issue even though rooms sit at different levels on the hillside. The lake is in view from the hotel, though it's quite far away. A lovely five-star hotel, well recommended.

There’s plenty to do on day trips nearby, and the relaxing facilities make it easy to unwind back at the hotel. We love the lake view, the thoughtful interior design, and the excellent accommodation and dining. It’s one of our favorite places in Greece, whether we come as a family or just the two of us.

The setting is a real highlight, with lovely views across the lake and surrounding mountains. You could almost imagine being in the Swiss Alps rather than central Greece. I liked the rustic look, and the reception, bar, and restaurant were great. The staff were friendly too. I didn’t use the spa, so I can’t comment on it, though I’ve heard some negative reviews. For me, the rest of the hotel makes up for any shortcomings.
