Samian Mare Hotel Suites & Spa

The biggest disappointment on our all-inclusive stay was the drinks. The cocktails and even the beer tasted watered down and seemed to have very little alcohol. That was frustrating, since drinks are often a highlight of this kind of package. Aside from that, we had a very good experience. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and ready to help. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the food was varied and tasty. If you’re after a relaxing stay with good service and food, this is a solid choice. If good alcoholic drinks matter to you, you may want to look elsewhere or be ready to pay extra for something better.

The pool is stunning, and it’s a nice place to sit at night and relax with a drink. Food was great, with good choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the staff are friendly. Whatever you need, just ask. They’re always there to help.

We loved the quiet, relaxed feel of Karlovassi and found some good local places to visit, even though it’s far from Vathi and Pythagorio. Renting a car is the best way to explore the island. The room was roomy and comfortable enough for two, breakfast had lots of options and the pool was a little small. We picked Samian Mare for our honeymoon and had a lovely time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and even helped us arrange a small birthday celebration.

The location is nice and the staff are friendly, and the hotel itself is beautiful with good quality rooms. Still, I was surprised by how few drinks were included for a hotel at this price. Free options were limited to water and very sugary artificial juices. Coffee and other drinks cost extra, which I found disappointing.
