There's a private parking area, and Pigadia Karpathos is just three minutes away. Right in front, there's a cafe snack bar with a nice atmosphere and free sunbeds. The manager and all the staff were very friendly.

The beach bar and restaurant were lovely, and the food was delicious. We also found the housekeeping very thorough and the owners friendly. Sun loungers are available on the private beach. Our simple double room had a small bathroom and a basic kitchenette, though the lack of a shower curtain left the whole bathroom flooded, there were only a few dishes and pots, and the electric stove barely heated. We had a little terrace facing the street, but traffic was light at night, so it was completely quiet. A clothesline or somewhere to hang wet laundry would have been useful. We stayed in August 2022, and if we return to Karpathos, we'd stay here again.

The restaurant's large salads were really good for lunch, and the shade was free, so I'd recommend getting something there. The beach is okay and right in central Pigadia. You can swim easily, but there are big rocks in front, so I'd wear shoes.

We had really good Greek salad and tzatziki, plus freshly baked bread, which you don't get everywhere.
