Olive Studios

Peter and his wife were incredibly kind, always available if we needed anything, and happy to suggest beaches and restaurants. They also share a handy interactive PDF guide that made planning the trip much easier. The rooms are new, clean, and well equipped, with a washing machine, microwave, air conditioning, car park, and more. Set in a quiet spot among olive trees, it’s about 5 minutes by car from Pigadia, the island’s main area. A lovely place to relax, enjoy the sea and good food, and experience the Greek atmosphere.

Popi and Peter made us feel welcome on the island and suggested worthwhile places to visit each day. The surroundings were so peaceful and everything was clean. Without a doubt, we’ll stay at Olive Studios again if we return.

The island and Olive studios were such a lovely surprise for a summer holiday. The studio had just the space we needed, a comfortable bed, AC, and everything for cooking, including km0 olive oil. Its position on the island worked really well, so we could get around without spending too much time on the road. Restaurants, car and scooter rentals, and supermarkets were also within walking distance. Peter and his wife Popy were lovely and gave us lots of suggestions for exploring. We’ll definitely come back.

I’ve stayed in summer studios and hotels in the US, the Emirates, and across Greece, so I’ve had both good and bad experiences. Olive Studios Karpathos was a wonderful surprise. The place felt new throughout, with beautiful furnishings, spotless rooms, and beds that were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a family-size fridge, stove, washing machine, and other free amenities. Olive trees surround the studios, giving them a peaceful, natural setting. The owners were welcoming and accommodating, and showed real traditional Greek hospitality. When I next visit Karpathos, I know where I’ll stay. Highly recommend Olive Studios, two thumbs up!
