The hotel is well placed for walking around the village, though church bells woke us early in the morning. The rooms were cozy and warm for our December group, with comfortable beds, good insulation, heating, and very hot water. The shower, though, felt like something from the 1950s. Parking was frustrating at first. After eight hours riding, we parked our motorcycles in the public space right outside the front door and started unloading. Someone who didn’t seem to be hotel staff told us to move because it was hotel parking. We were pretty agitated, but found free public parking 10 meters away and moved there to avoid an argument. The next day, hotel staff apologized, which I appreciated. I understand there’s a parking problem, but it’s between the hotel and the Municipality and shouldn’t be passed on to guests.

We had booked two rooms for three people, but were told we had to switch to three rooms for two and also pay the price difference. The phone manner was rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We were very well looked after, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, and the people were friendly, especially the lady who owns the hotel. Parking was easy, with an area just two minutes away. We’ll definitely visit again!

I stayed in August 2025 and had a wonderful time. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel is about a two-minute walk from the town square. My room was clean, and room service was quick.

The hotel is in the centre of Karpenissi and is nice, though dated. The rooms need refurbishing, the fitted carpets don’t give a clean impression, and noise insulation is poor.
