The location was the one strong point. Some staff were very rude, offensive, unhelpful, and passive-aggressive for no reason. We couldn't even find the entrance and had to haul our bags uphill. The staff didn't seem glad to see us or willing to help. The rooms were okay and the balcony was great, but there was a huge dead moth under the bed, the carpets were dirty, and the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent. The food was alright, though bland.

You really need a car to make the most of exploring nearby villages, the river and springs, and the walking paths with different difficulty levels. The location itself is outstanding, in a lovely little village surrounded by forest and great views. Rooms and common areas are excellently furnished, service is great, and the meals are top quality.

Parking was plentiful, and breakfast came with the stay. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and there’s a luxurious lounge. It’s usually quiet, with meeting room and gym facilities available. There’s no hotel restaurant, and pets aren’t allowed. The service was excellent. Recommended.

The rooms and furniture look like they haven’t been updated in ages. For what we paid, it wasn’t worth it. I’d put the price at about €90 tops.

There’s a lovely garden where you can sit, relax, and chat with the other guests. The receptionist was very polite, and the rooms and suites were quite affordable. It’s an awesome, luxurious hotel.
