Apollon Suites

A relaxing family place with a sandy private beach, pool, and veranda. The rooms are spacious and have kitchenettes, which worked well for traveling with kids. Staff were friendly, and the restaurant served both local and international food. It’s about a 5 min walk from karystos city centre. A good pick for unwinding by the beautiful Aegean sea with children.

The friendly staff and lovely location were positives, but the cleanliness and food didn’t match the high price. The carpet in the rooms wasn’t clean, and the cleaning equipment looked gross. Breakfast was poor quality, very limited, and the same every day, which gets tiresome if you stay for several days. Management should seriously think about renovating and upgrading the kitchen if they want to keep high standards.

We weren’t guests at the hotel, but the staff let us spend the day at the beach and use the facilities, including the beach drinks service, restaurant, and bar. There’s a decent beach out front, an okay pool, and the food and service were good. Free Wi-Fi worked well across the property. We’d return if we were in the area again.

The sea is right outside, with a great view from the hotel. It seems fairly new, and the rooms felt brand new and looked beautiful. Service was fast and very good. There’s also a pool in the garden for anyone who’d rather swim there than in the sea. A lovely place for a holiday.
