The receptionists, a sister and brother, were genuinely nice and tried to make our stay more comfortable. The hotel is close to the beach, but the other services were close to awful, and I won't return. Our room wasn't cleaned during the stay. We were there for seven nights, and staff only came every two days to take the rubbish. They didn't bring extra soap, shampoo or toilet paper unless we asked at reception. The guide in the room said sheets would be changed every three days, but they weren't. I had to ask at reception on day four. Our towels were never changed during the week. The bathroom fan and air conditioning were so noisy that there was a constant sound in the room. On arrival I had to wipe dust off the shelves before I could put my clothes away. Breakfast was identical each morning, with no fruit or vegetables, just eggs, croissants, milk, butter, marmalade, cereal, and poor-quality cheese and ham. The pool was closed when we arrived; they started getting it ready, but it was still closed a week later. Before booking, check the Google Maps reviews. The hotel has no Booking.com reviews because, we were told, the administration asks guests to cancel there and make a separate phone reservation in return for a discount.

The only real plus is being close to the beach. The place has potential in the cute town of Nea Skioni, but it needs much better management, skilled staff, more effort and more workers. As it is, it feels like a rip-off and isn't worth the price, even with a discount. The pool was awful, with green water and dirt. The dining room in the basement was sticky and filthy, with dusty cupboards, and looked like a health hazard. Food was the same every day, tasteless, served on dirty dishes and paired in strange ways. If you arrived a little after service began, decent meat or other food could already be gone. When we asked for more, the man serving just said there was no more. It's a miracle nobody got sick. Our room wasn't cleaned at all during our eight days. The cleaning lady, apparently the only one, sat smoking and looking at her phone. She took out the rubbish only after first trying unsuccessfully to get my wife to do it. We grabbed towels ourselves because nobody changed them, and our sheets were never changed. There was dust and sand everywhere, the curtains and balcony doors were dirty, and the room smelled bad. The woman next door was cleaning her own room because they had a baby. We waited a couple of hours for our room after arriving, since check-in was at 14:00 and it wasn't ready. The receptionist seemed frightened when I said we were checking in. Staff had no uniforms, so it was hard to tell who worked there. There seemed to be about five employees, and they didn't appear to be working very hard. The two older men in the kitchen and dining room were especially something to see. This isn't a hotel so much as a road house in a suspicious part of town. Don't be fooled by the photos on different sites.

It's close to the beach, and the place has potential, but it needs better management and more skilled workers. The rooms and the rest of the property were dirty and badly maintained. Towels and bed linen weren't changed, the food was poor, repetitive and in short supply, and the staff didn't seem interested in helping or giving information.

The food was just OK, a bit dry. Room service was the bigger problem. A Romanian gypsy came in to clean at 6 AM while I was half asleep, and I couldn't tell if she was there to rob me or clean. She didn't really clean, just took out the trash and swept a couple of times. The bathroom was never cleaned and felt like a pool the whole time. Even the door wouldn't shut unless we slammed it. If you're in room 211, the TV may have footprints on it. We had to hit it with a shoe about half a dozen times before it worked properly.

The town and beach were the only good parts. Our room and sheets were dirty, and when we asked for blankets, none were brought. The food was awful and kept repeating. One of the doors didn't have a locking system.
