Marika Apartments & Annexe

The setting is hard to beat, with direct access to the beach and only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the harbour. The pool area was lovely, and we all enjoyed using it. We had three apartments for our extended family on this, our third stay at the Marika: number 6, a two-bedroom place with three balconies, one facing the sea; number 7, also two bedrooms, with two balconies, one sea-facing; and number 3, a ground-floor studio with a sea view. The first two were on the first floor. All three worked for our needs. They’re a little dated, but functional and equipped for a self-catering holiday. We’ll be back. We booked through The Travel corner, based in KASSIOPI, and got first-class service and great communication.

Right by the beach, these basic apartments are clean, with a good kitchen and shower, a cute garden-view veranda and an on-site pool. Our apartment, No 1, was dark, though, and without a sofa there was nowhere comfortable to relax. Both veranda chairs were unusable because the rattan was completely broken. There was nobody to meet us, just our name on a piece of paper tacked to a door. Nobody had told us about that before check-in, so we had no idea what to do when we arrived. Luckily, a kind man from the apartments next door saw us looking around and offered to help.

Really clean, modern apartments in an unbeatable spot. The best in Kassiopi.

These apartments are lovely and perfectly placed in Kassiopi. I’d definitely come back.
