The place itself was lovely inside, and we had a nice week with family, but it felt expensive for what we got. Check-out at 10am was far too early. There were lots of gadgets but no toaster, and the kitchen had no proper work space. Some details were awkward: the extractor fan was so low I kept hitting my head, and the bedroom TVs were too low as well. There were no bedroom chairs or bins. The cleaner said 10:30 but arrived at 9:45 while we were all in. She left towels, emptied the kitchen bin and went, and we never saw her again. The building front needs painting, and the tall hedge should be removed so you can see the sea.

The hosts were the real highlight. They were incredibly caring and helpful, more than we’ve experienced before. They helped arrange honeymoon decorations and a divine birthday cake, and suggested medicine for my sister and father, who have allergies. The place itself is wonderful too.

It was a peaceful spot, with a little pebble beach and clear water just behind the villa. Kassiopi village is only a few minutes away on foot for shops and essentials, though I’d suggest having a car to explore further. The house matched the photos and made a great base. It even felt a bit like a hotel since everyone had an ensuite. Our host met us in person and shared lots of food recommendations, which we appreciated. She also stocked plenty of extras, from toiletries, towels and detergent to a welcome basket with pasta, sauces and wine. She couldn’t have done more for us. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

A great fit for larger groups, with everything close by and the old town of Kassiopi just a few minutes' walk away. The value for money is very good. The villa's furnishings and the quality of the interior make it stand out. Nothing to complain about, and I highly recommend it.
