We only stayed one night, so I may not have a full picture. The staff member who showed us to the room was very kind and helpful. We’d booked a room without a view, but he gave us one facing the front. The view was breathtaking, there are no words for it.
The owner was very helpful and took care of me during heavy rain, even though I hadn’t made a reservation. The room had everything I needed, including a fridge, TV, AC and a great view of the lake, mountains and city. Highly recommend it.
Dimitra Guesthouse is right in the center of Despilio and has a fantastic setting. The rooms have all the comforts, and Dimitra and Haris are very hospitable and kind!
We visited the accommodation as a family recently. It was unacceptable. There was dampness on the ceiling, and when we turned on the air conditioner, a horrible smell came from the filters, which seemed as if they had not been cleaned for years. The sheets were dirty. During our stay, they didn’t change the sheets or towels. One day someone only brought sheets for me to change myself. Unacceptable!
There was parking for three cars, though the lot was uphill. The rooms had mold, and there was only one towel. The bathroom was quite small, and you had to shower on the tile. There weren’t any sheets to cover up with, just a pique blanket. No one was at reception, even when we left. Half the toilet paper in our room had already been used, and the bathroom in the room we booked smelled bad. The mattress wasn’t very good either.
