Ritsa was fantastic, full of helpful knowledge about the area. The room was spotless, with fresh white sheets, a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and lovely white towels. From the window you can see the incredible Meteora rock formations, making this a great base for visiting the site. The shared kitchen downstairs is used by just the three rooms and has everything you need. Lovely tavernas are only a two-minute walk away.

Ritsa was the highlight of our visit, a lively, warm, sparkling host who welcomed us to Thalia in person. The rooms and shared kitchen suited our Meteora trip really well. You’re close to the monasteries and right in the heart of Kastraki, convenient for restaurants, bakeries, and other services. Thank you!

We slept so well, the beds were cozy and the pillows especially comfortable. The location in Meteora is perfect, and the coffee was good. The staff were very helpful. Ask Ritsa about alternative sites, hikes, restaurants, and bakeries, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back.

Thalia rooms were just what I expected. The email after booking laid out all the room details and activities, and we were welcomed so kindly. The view was breathtaking, and the guesthouse was beautifully decorated and fully equipped, which made me feel at home. The surroundings and mystical atmosphere make the destination feel magical.

The room was cozy and clean, and the balcony was lovely for breakfast or relaxing at night. Periklis and Sofia communicated wonderfully, were friendly and helpful, and shared tips about nearby beaches and restaurants. Sofia’s homemade jams and sweet and savory pies were amazing. We couldn’t choose, so we ordered everything each day. When we couldn’t finish it all, she packed the leftovers as beach snacks. They made our stay wonderful. I totally recommend this place!
