We found this apartment clean, roomy and well equipped, with all the comforts we needed for two or three days. The host was really friendly and gave us all the information we needed. It’s a great option for a short stay in Kastraki, close to the Meteora site, and good value for the price. We’d recommend it.

The hiking paths are only a short walk from the door, and getting here by train and then bus worked well for my husband and me. We found fruit and cookies waiting for us, which was a lovely touch. The apartment is modern, spacious, clean and nicely equipped, including everything needed to cook, though there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of linen. The owner replied promptly and was very helpful. We recommend this lovely spot in Kastraki.

The lady who runs the place was caring and helpful, and made us feel at home. We were also glad to find cookies and a bottle of wine ready for us. The apartment is modern, tastefully furnished and well cared for. The beds were clean and comfortable, and it had air conditioning and heating, a coffee maker, oven and cooking equipment, fridge, good shower and TV. We’d happily recommend The Little Gem Under The Rocks as a base for visiting Meteora.

A quiet, comfortable place with plenty of room for parking, and just 10 minutes from the Meteora monasteries. It was very clean, and the host was pleasant and helpful.

We only stayed one night, but really liked it. The place is very clean, the beds are great, and it has everything you need. Parking is right by the front door.
