Tsikeli Boutique Hotel Meteora - Adults Friendly

We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the meteora peaks, and the people were very helpful. Breakfast was good, though not great. The property is right where the road starts up to the monasteries, and several Tabernas are within walking distance.

The setting was attractive and the room was nice, but we ran into a couple of issues. There were lots of flies in the room and they kept us awake at night. It was also very hard to control the temperature, and it got really cold because the air conditioner seemed impossible to manage.

We really liked the small restaurant, and breakfast had a great selection. The food tasted very good. The hotel itself is amazing, with beautiful, very clean rooms and staff who were kind and helpful. It’s easy to walk to the Meteora Mountains from here. I’d definitely recommend it!

The Stone Room with Hot Tub was just what we needed. We used the hot tub whenever we wanted, the bed was super comfy, and having breakfast brought to our room meant we didn’t have to rush in the mornings. The room’s style was so tasteful, you have to see it. The staff were friendly and always glad to help. When we asked about finding traditional, old-fashioned slow-cooked food, they pointed us to Panellinion, which was a total hit. We also ate at the hotel’s Senses restaurant, and it was a WHOA experience, perfect for foodies like us. One tiny odd thing: the smart TV wouldn’t take USB input, so playing movies from our hard drive was tricky. If you want to watch something in a language other than Greek, bring a tablet or notebook and an HDMI cable. It didn’t spoil the stay at all, just a technical note for anyone who likes watching movies at night. We highly recommend it!
