Grecotel La Riviera

A nice hotel for families with children. The buffet was varied and complete, but the restaurants had limited menus and seemed expensive for the quality.

We come back to Grecotel Olympia Riviera year after year, and it keeps exceeding our expectations. The reception team, Panagiotis, Niki, and Chara, welcomed us warmly and handled all our questions quickly and efficiently. We ate lunch at Sea Dunes and Hot Stones almost every day for two weeks. Zoe and Olga made those lunches and dinners special, with delicious food and impeccable service, and Giannis brought his cheerful mood every day. Dinner was a great culinary experience too, made even better by the incredible sunset view. Nikos gave us wonderful deep tissue massages, just as he did two years ago. And heartfelt thanks to the whole Kid’s Club team, especially Maria, Tim, and Celia, for looking after our children so well and making every day fun and welcoming. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The weekend with family and friends was a great one, with a lush landscape and friendly, helpful, polite staff. Breakfast and dinner buffets had lots of delicious choices. We especially loved the freshly cooked creamy pappardelle with duck and the omelet made by Mrs. Roula. Our room was spacious, quiet, and very clean, and the facilities were well maintained. The swimming pool interiors and outdoor sports facilities could use some renovation, though. There were plenty of activities, and we felt we’d spent the weekend very well.

The view is great, and most of the staff are friendly and very helpful. But the pool is overcrowded, there’s no playground area for children, and there are very few activities. The kids’ room is rarely open. Restaurants get overcrowded and fully booked too. Breakfast at 10am meant a 30-minute wait for a table, and the Wi-Fi is slow everywhere.
