You can sleep peacefully here despite being just a few minutes from local bars and restaurants. It’s right beside the beach in a quiet spot, with stunning sea views. Virago cocktail bar is around the corner and sensational.

The view from the balcony and beach at sunrise was unforgettable, a real natural spectacle. The hotel is right on the beach, spotless, and very neat, with an outstanding view. We spent 14 dream days at Beach House I & II, in a peaceful area that’s perfect for relaxing. The sea was incredibly clean, that mesmerizing turquoise blue. The host was so friendly and attentive and made us feel at home. We also had the best cocktails next door at Virago Bar. They made this wonderful vacation feel like a true blessing, and I can’t wait to return.

The couple made us feel very welcome at beach house 1 & 2. On our first day there was an electrical fault, and they came straight over to fix it. They also let us leave our suitcases there on the last day because our flight was late. They run the bar next door and make lovely cocktails. Thanks for a perfect stay, we’d definitely come back 🥰

We were there when Thomas Cook collapsed, and Vicki went above and beyond to keep everyone up to date with what was happening and the new flight details. We’d have been lost without her. Vicki and Spiros are such welcoming hosts, and the location is fantastic. We were happy with everything even before the upgrades, though we’re really looking forward to visiting again in September to see what’s changed. Virago Bar is a great place to begin or end the evening, and plenty of people have been coming back for years. That says it all!

The pebble beach is so close, and there’s a garden with loungers leading right onto the beautiful clear water. Vicki, our lovely host, welcomed us when we arrived. I’d already been in touch with her beforehand. Everything was better than we expected. The rooms are basic, but had all we needed, including a lockable safe, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, and the beds were really comfortable. There’s a grocery shop on site as well as a great cocktail bar. Do try the Mudslide and Strawberry Daiquiri, Spiros and his colleague make them deliciously. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main street, with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. The people of Alykes are so happy, friendly, and hospitable. I can totally recommend staying here.
