Hotel Kymata

The staff were very, very nice, and the rooms were clean. The location is hard to beat, right on the beach and in the middle of everything, with an amazing view. Breakfast was good too, served in a top-floor dining room overlooking the sea. For what I paid, though, I found the stay overpriced. There’s no private beach area, so you still have to pay for a tiki hut. The rooms are clean but really small and not very updated, and the bathroom was so cramped that at 183cm tall I couldn’t sit straight on the toilet without hitting my head on the wall. There’s no parking, so you have to drive about 200m to a lot or hope to find street parking. There’s also no coffee machine or water heater for making a hot drink. I paid 280€ on booking for three nights and three people, then another 50€ for my four-year-old, who was counted as an extra person. It was two adults and two kids, so it came to 110€ per night. That feels like a lot for Greece, even with a few good to great points. I wouldn’t stay again at that price.
