Villa Caterina

The facilities and location were okay, but the owner made this the worst hosting experience I've had. He lives in the apartment block, was very rude, offered no hospitality, and wouldn't even provide something simple like clean towels. Avoid.

The location and facilities worked well, and the host was welcoming to my boyfriend and me at first. Once the rest of our group arrived, aged 20-25, his attitude changed and we felt unwelcome. We followed the quiet-hours rule after 11pm, but still got several lectures about noise as soon as we arrived, as if we were schoolchildren. We were paying 1000 euros for four nights. He was rude when we spoke to him, including when we handed over the details he had asked for, and he refused clean towels after the ones in our room had been taken away during the day. I wouldn't recommend it for a group or people in their twenties. It may suit families or older couples.

The property and its facilities were ideal, and the location was great. The host's manner was poor and rude, though. He treated our group like schoolkids.

Back for another lovely holiday. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed, with excellent equipment throughout.
