Villa Thymari by Villa Plus

We booked through Jet2 villas and stayed in September 2025. We were really happy with our stay. The pool area and views are stunning, with eight sun loungers, four large parasol umbrellas and outdoor sofas on a nice balcony overlooking the pool. There are four large en-suite bedrooms, all with good air conditioning. Three have great views to the front. The fourth is at the back and shares a shaded wrap-around balcony with the other downstairs bedroom. There's also a large lounge and a well-appointed kitchen. A few practical things came up. The villa was in shade from around 4-5pm, so there was no evening sun. We couldn't find a way to switch on the pool lights, which was a shame for the look of the area. The WiFi was fine, but not really accessible upstairs. We only got one door key, though a lockbox by the door worked as a workaround. On arrival, it wasn't immediately clear which parking spot was ours, as the sign is on the side of the wall. The approach road also goes farther than it looks on Google maps. There are 26 steep steps from the parking area to the front door. The carport isn't very attractive, and the wall has mould or algae that seems to be from pool water dripping down. Walking to Katelios takes 10 minutes, and the walk back is 15, with a gentle slope for about three quarters of the way and a very steep, calf-burning final quarter. We didn't do that walk every evening. Parking and turning two cars is tight, and could be daunting with the big drop behind, separated only by a chain between rather spindly posts.
