Katerina and her family, including her mother and father, keep the place spotless and the gardens lovely. It was a real pleasure relaxing by the pool. The rooms were comfortable, and the setting was quiet. It's a 15-minute walk to the village, or just five minutes to a couple of more local restaurants. We were given water on arrival, plus salt, pepper, olive oil and basic washing-up supplies, which made self-catering for a short stay easier. Beach umbrellas are available to borrow, handy since there's little shade on the beaches. Katerina also arranged our transfers and gave us the details for a local bike hire company. We contacted them directly and they delivered the bike to the property, all at very competitive prices. We stayed two nights before heading to Albania and liked it so much that we booked another five nights on our way back through Corfu. Excellent service all round.

The mattresses are really comfortable, and the rooms are well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The pool is lovely too.

The town center, restaurants and shops are about 100 meters downhill, and the setting itself is peaceful. There are pebbly beaches nearby and sandy ones on the other side of the island. The property has internet and parking for rental cars. It also has fruit trees, flowers, herbs guests can eat, and six tortoises. A first-aid kit is kept in the house, and the Fenistil gel roll-ons came in very handy. We were greeted warmly with a generous snack basket, and the atmosphere felt like a family home. Everything was exceptionally clean. The beds and mattresses looked new and fresh, with a clean mattress protector fitted for our arrival; the pillows and duvet had been cleaned beforehand, and we slept very comfortably. You can rent a small car for a full week for around €260, booking from two weeks before departure. I highly recommend the place, everything was perfect! 👍 Thank you for the kind hospitality.
