We had a nice, clean house with enough room for eight people, a lovely pool, and really nice hosts. It sits in the mountains, away from the hustle and bustle, and worked well for our family with children. You do need a car, though. A good base for trips around western Crete.

The owner was discreet, hospitable, and a very nice person. The place was spotlessly clean, including the pool, and had a calm atmosphere. I went with friends and children, and the soundproofing between floors was so good we couldn't hear the kids making noise upstairs. It's very close to Chania, Agia Marina, and Platania. I think it would be a good choice in winter too, with the fireplace and well-insulated windows. A really good place, and I highly recommend it. 😊😊

A lovely house with all the amenities. Getting there could be a bit easier.
