Evilion Apartments

The manager was great, and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. The pool is nice, the location is beautiful, and the room was so clean that some chain hotel housekeeping teams could take notes. It is pretty far out, as we say in Hungarian, “behind the back of God,” but it's a superb place. Definitely recommend it.

We usually visit Crete every year, sometimes twice, and this was by far the cleanest, roomiest apartment we've stayed in. We were there in mid May and had a great stay. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the rooms had loads of space. A special thanks to the owner's wife for taking the time to chat with us. We can't wait to come back.

The pool area was spotless and really pretty, with hammocks, a swing set, and a nice table. We were also just a two minute walk from the sea and lots of good bars and restaurants. A nearby bus runs to the middle of Chania about every half hour and costs 1.60. Our apartment had three single beds, plenty of room, a fully equipped kitchen (we only had to buy dish soap), and a clean bathroom with great water pressure. The wifi was very good, and the many windows let in lots of light. It stayed nice and cool inside. There was even a little balcony with cats. The staff were lovely and spoke amazing English. The cleaner was especially kind and let us stay past checkout when the weather wasn't great. My friend falling off the hammock was the holiday highlight.

Stalos is nicer than the bigger resorts nearby, and the location was good. Our apartment was great value and very clean, with a nice pool and beach close by. Loved the garden and its huge palm trees. The owners were super friendly!
