We had a wonderful holiday, and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. The villa is spacious and has excellent amenities, with air conditioning in every room and three bathrooms. There's plenty nearby, including the beach, shops, and a bakery, and Chania is about a 15-minute drive away. The pool is a good size and shared with another villa. Agia Marina beach is about five minutes by car and is one we recommend. We took off one star for cleanliness issues and a few broken pieces of furniture. The furniture is old, but that didn't bother us.

The view from the upper terrace is fantastic, and Giorgos is a nice guy. That's about where the good points end. The price doesn't match what you get, especially given the high rental cost. The villa badly needs a deep clean and general overhaul. The furnishings are below standard, scratched and worn, and every cupboard or drawer has something broken. The double bed is narrow and short, and swimming isn't possible because one side of the pool is so shallow. I'm still giving it two stars for the location and view.
