Nerida Beachfront Villas

The owners were very nice, and the location was perfect. I’ll definitely stay there again!

An expensive place.

We had a lovely family vacation. The villa was clean and in good condition, with everything we needed, and the beach is right in front of the house. The pool was cleaned regularly. In the evenings, we could watch deer in the garden. The hostess was super friendly and left us some snacks and water. I have nothing negative to say.

The wind is the main drawback here. The area is very exposed, and it blew almost constantly. During our week, it fell below 25-30 knots for only a few hours. The sea itself stays calm, without currents, but for a windless beach day you’ll need to go to Yennadi. Nerida is a group of three villas, reached by a 3km dirt road. I stayed in Helios, the one in the middle. They look identical from outside, though the interiors have different decor, as shown on the website. The villa stands on the last rocky strip before the sand dunes. From the glass-fronted living room, there’s a small pool and a beautiful lawn leading straight to a small, magnificent beach. I only occasionally saw one guest from another villa on the beach, so the feeling of isolation, exclusivity, and quiet is unusual. The house is spacious, with a large kitchen equipped with everything except an Italian coffee maker. The manager provided coffee, biscuits, pasta, sauces, and condiments, and gave us excellent local restaurant recommendations. You can take your own lounge chairs to the beach. There aren’t any umbrellas, though I think they plan to provide some.
