Airotel Galaxy Hotel

This was my fourth stay at Air Hotel Galaxy Hotel, and I keep coming back instead of looking elsewhere. It’s right in the center, near the bars, taverns, cafes, and shops, with a distinctive sea view. The staff are consistently polite and helpful. On this visit, Ms. Olga helped me with parking and later upgraded my room to one with a sea view. For me, it’s the best place to stay in Kavala.

The breakfast upstairs on the top floor was amazing, and the location makes it easy to walk into the centre. I found a free parking space right in front, though the hotel’s free parking fills up pretty quickly. The room was really nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend it.

Marina at reception handled a reservation mix-up with impressive speed and care. I’d accidentally booked the same dates for the following year, and I was worried, but she helped resolve it in a humane and professional way. They even gave us a room with a wonderful view. I stayed for one night, from December 19 to 20, and although it was my first visit, I’d gladly come back. Thank you, Marina and Airotel Galaxy. I’ll return to beautiful Kavala. Wishing the whole team a successful, wonderful 2026.

I work in hospitality, and the reception staff never made us feel welcome or comfortable. At breakfast we couldn’t find a clean table, and no one seemed concerned about cleaning one. The rooms weren’t anything special, with very old furniture. We’d told them a week ahead that we had a baby and asked for a baby bed on arrival, but they said none were available and left us to deal with it.
