Esperia Hotel

The room was okay, and the people were welcoming and helpful. We had trouble opening the door when we arrived, but they helped us out. There wasn't a program in Bulgarian, though luckily I know English. I still liked my stay, and the food was nice too.

The location was perfect, but the rest of the stay wasn't good. The key kept failing, so I had to go to reception three times. There were bugs in the bathroom. We asked for a double bed, but they pushed two single beds together, with two separate blankets. There was no parking area at the hotel. The public lot across the street costs 9 € per day and is closed on Saturday.

You can walk everywhere from this centrally located hotel. The rooms were very clean, and the view was the best part. The team were friendly, especially Dimitris, who guided us at reception. Lovely place to stay 🤩

We went in September and were pleasantly surprised, since the reviews had left us with low expectations. Our room and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. The waitress said birds might come onto the breakfast terrace and suggested we sit inside, but we stayed outside and no pigeons landed on the tables. The hotel's lot only has 8-9 spaces, but there's public parking across the street if it's full. Prices are very favorable: overnight parking in the guarded lot is 2 euros, and street parking is 50 cents an hour. The part that spoiled things was forgetting my phone charger. I called a few hours later so someone could pick it up, but they said it hadn't been found. I'm sure I left it in the room, so that left a bad impression.
