The rooms had the essentials, including air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, and a small fridge, as well as clean sheets and soft towels. They were cleaned daily, with the sheets changed every two days. The staff were warm and friendly, and it's just a few minutes from the beach, a coffee shop, and a restaurant. Very happy with the price. Highly recommend!
The noise made it hard to enjoy the stay. The room's main door is thin wood, and the bed is only a meter away when the door opens, so every little corridor sound comes through. The walls don't block sound either. You can hear the neighbors turning on the tap, using the toilet, shaving, and so on. Mornings were fun...
The room and sheets were clean, though the furniture was old. There was AC and a fridge in the room, plus a large parking lot. We paid 40 euros a night, cash only.
The free parking was a plus, and the receptionist even gave us a discount, which I appreciated. Still, the beds, TV, and pretty much everything else looked like it belonged in the 80s. There was also a dog right outside our window, as you can see in the photos. Maybe it works if you just need a bed in a pinch, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Nea Karvali is a lovely village, with a long sandy beach. The host was great, and the room had AC, WiFi, and a fridge. Parking was available too.
