Villa Nickolas

The beach is clean and the beach bar and restaurant serve good food, with very large portions. We had a nice, peaceful stay, and the owners were very nice and understanding. Breakfast was good too. The beach is just two minutes away, but getting there means crossing a busy road without crosswalk markings, which felt rather dangerous with the kids.

The staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was OK, and the location was great. But the rooms didn't look like the photos on the website. Maybe we'd been put in rooms that hadn't been renovated yet, but in general they weren't OK. There's also a main road next to the Villa, so sleeping with the windows open isn't possible.

The beach is nearby, and there's plenty of parking. The staff were great, as were the rooms and food. Everything was great, I'd definitely go again!

The parking was the one thing we really appreciated. Our room was clean, the receptionist was kind, and Villa Nickolas is close to the beach. They can reserve an umbrella and sunbeds for you at no charge, and there’s a supermarket right beside the hotel. But the room felt cramped, and the air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on, even though it was hot. The bathroom was tiny too, especially the shower, which was very difficult for me to use while pregnant. Mornings were noisy as well. The cleaning staff’s station was right by the bathroom window, and from 8 AM they talked loudly and smoked, so the smell spread through our room. I could hear their very loud sink even with earplugs in, and they woke us every morning. There are only stairs and no elevator. We didn’t like the breakfast, so we went to bakeries in town instead. The price felt far too high for such an uncomfortable stay. I wouldn’t return. It didn’t feel like a place to relax.
