Cavos Beach House

Getting the room key at check-in was a struggle. We could barely reach anyone, and ended up asking the bar staff to help. Near the end of our stay, the bar staff also told us about a daily €2-per-person charge that reception at Cavos Beach House had never mentioned. I think that’s outrageous. The bathroom was dirty and smelled, our trash wasn’t taken out, and the cleaning needs real improvement. I’d suggest changing the sheets at least every two days. A washing line on the balcony would also be useful for wet clothes. The room itself was okay, but the lack of professionalism made the stay very disappointing. I don’t recommend Cavos Beach House and would tell people to avoid it. I’ve seen better places to stay in Kavos, at a much higher standard.

I was woken early one morning when a woman came into our room without warning and accused me of stealing another room key. My girlfriend and I were both there. I don’t know if a key had even gone missing, but she said they had no evidence and there were plenty of other guests staying there. Nothing connected the supposed theft to me. I believe she accused me because she didn’t like how I looked. When I called out what I saw as blatant racism, she raised her voice, called me rude and dirty, and demanded a €100 fine plus €20 for the key. I refused. She then told me to be careful who I mess with and where I go, and said she knew lots of people in the area. The language she used was appalling and completely unjustified. As a black man, travelling anywhere in Europe already puts me on edge, and Cavos Beach House was no exception. From the start, staff were rude and obnoxious to me and my partner, acting as though they couldn’t wait to get away from me. I can’t believe what a mess this became. I’ll never return, and I warn others to stay away. It seems they’ve tried similar scams on other guests and may keep doing it to anyone they think they can push around. The place is vile, much like the staff. The sheets and towels didn’t seem to have been washed in a while either. I’ve never had a worse experience abroad. 0/5 stars.

We had a calm, relaxing stay, and the hosts made it feel personal and easy. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well cared for, with beautiful views. The setting is peaceful and uncrowded, just steps from the sea. A simple, comfortable getaway with nature right outside. I’d highly recommend it for couples or solo travelers.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were so kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, and I really appreciated their warm hospitality. The location is convenient for a seaside break, just a few steps from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. I highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.
