Likourgos beach apartments

We had a great girls holiday here. They greeted us with a welcome drink and gave us a little gift when we left, such a lovely gesture. The hotel is in an excellent spot, with the beach right behind it and a lovely pool. The food and drinks were amazing and cheap. Our little apartment was cute, with a microwave and our own balcony, so we had breakfast there every morning.

My plans changed and I couldn’t stay, but the hotel refunded my money even though it could have charged me. Communication was great too. Based on how they handled that, I’d choose to stay here.

The welcome drink led straight to lunch for us, the menu looked so good that we ordered as soon as we arrived at the bar. We had a fabulous stay in a two-room apartment overlooking the beach. It was comfortable and quiet, and the shower was excellent. You can go straight onto the beach opposite the inflatable aqua park. The pool was great too, and there were always plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The busier parts of Kavos, with food, bars and shops, are close enough to walk to, but we didn’t hear any late-night noise. We ate at the Likourgos Taverna several nights and highly recommend the food and service.

The owner’s a great person, with a quick wit and a good heart, and helped with whatever we needed. The restaurant serves typical Greek food, homemade too. Rooms have air conditioning, a fridge and an electric cooking plate. I used two rooms because I extended my stay, thanks to the nice atmosphere. Everything was clean, including the pool and restaurant. Kavos may be known as a party town, but here you’re far enough from the loud music while still only a hundred meters from the “night-life.” It works with or without children. I’d recommend renting a 125cc scooter for the vacation. There are many really nice places you can reach in 15min to 1 hour. You can also take the fairy, only 5min away by scooter, to the mainland. Igoumenitsa is 1Hour/18-22€ including the scooter and two people.
