Apollo Hotel I & II

The rooms were a decent size and clean, and the pool was nice. We stayed in May and had a great time. Sergi was the real star of the holiday. He was so helpful with arranging trips and explaining the buses, which were easy to use with a stop only a few minutes’ walk away. Nicest guy I’ve met, and he truly made our holiday. He doesn’t hold back with the raki either 🤣 I’d recommend the hotel and would love to return soon. Five stars.

We stayed seven days at the Apollo resort, in a beautiful and peaceful location. Sergio welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home, giving us the best experience. 12/10 for Sergio.

The one thing we liked was the chill zone by the Apollo 2 pool. At Apollo 1, the terrace had loud music and noise all the time. Beyond that, our seven-night stay at Apollo 2 was a bad choice. We love Crete and this was our second visit to the island, but I can’t recommend this accommodation. It definitely isn’t a four-star hotel. The staff seemed overwhelmed and poorly prepared. There was nobody at reception, and the bar girl gave us our room after calling someone, perhaps the manager, four times. The shower water was cold in the morning and after 9 at night, though fine during the day. Food choices were very limited: the same breakfast every morning, and only a few dinner options, none tasty.
