Nima Boutique Hotel

Katrina at reception has a rare warmth about her, and we received patient, high-quality service from her. The hotel itself is excellent value for what we paid. The food was high quality, on par with a five-star hotel, though the selection may be smaller, which makes sense for a hotel of this size. The rooms are large and modern, with a private pool. Everything is new, and the amenities include a Nespresso machine, robes, cotton swabs, a nail file, toothpaste, and a toothbrush.

We stayed for a week and had a great experience from arrival to departure. The staff were super friendly and upbeat. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with air conditioning that worked perfectly and a big TV. Parking right outside was convenient, and breakfast tasted good. Just what we needed!

Once they had my money, the hotel seemed to have no interest in helping. I got the date wrong when I booked, which was my own mistake, but for days I tried to change the booking or get a refund and they refused both. They blamed Booking, although Booking had sent a cancellation request that the hotel itself declined. The place may be fine when everything goes to plan, but I wouldn't count on understanding or help if it doesn't. Would you want to take that risk?

Breakfast on the open terrace felt like eating in our own garden, and the food was outstanding: fresh seasonal fruit that changed with what was available, Cretan specialties, eggs, sweets, pancakes, tahini, nuts, and plenty more. We were greeted with a genuine smile and a friendly chat every time. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with their own character, and felt more like home than a hotel. Maybe the best hotel we've ever stayed in.
