Fourtounis Hotel

I keep coming back to Fourtounis every summer, and it’s always hard to leave. The hotel is peaceful and just steps from Kefalos Bay, and the special family who run it make me feel completely at peace. Breakfast is lovely, with fresh fruit, homemade cookies and cakes, jams, eggs, Greek yogurt and plenty more.

The owners and staff were always kind and happy to help. We stayed six nights at Fourtonis and would definitely recommend it. Our room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and everything we needed. It was cleaned daily, with fresh towels, and we had an amazing direct sea view. Breakfast was good, homemade and always fresh. The location works well too, with a large car park behind the hotel and a quick way out to the main road in front of the beaches.

Grandma makes a fantastic breakfast, and the owners make you feel like part of their family. It’s a two-star hotel, but the hospitality and quality are high. Our room was big, comfortable and clean, with very comfy beds. It’s in a quiet area, three minutes on foot from the beach, and the most beautiful beaches are all within 20 minutes. I’d choose it again if I came back.

Breakfast had a great range, from fruit and fried eggs to orange juice, milk and coffee. There was a different little dessert each day, including pancakes, crepes and apple pie, so it never got repetitive. The hotel is very close to the beach, making a swim after breakfast easy. Just a heads up, the water on this side of the island is cold, hehe. The staff were kind and welcoming, and you can tell it’s a family business. Our room was cleaned every day, had air conditioning, a small fridge and a balcony with a line for hanging swimwear. Maybe the lack of a double bed was one small downside, but nothing serious. We had no other problems or unpleasant surprises during our stay.
