Psathi Blue Gamma

We stayed in Alpha for five days in early June, and both the room and Kimolos were lovely. The place is made up of two little houses, one for the bedroom and one for the living room, with a private courtyard and a terrace looking out over the sea and Poliegos. It’s right by the port, at the end of a quiet little street, so it feels private. The water is only about 50 meters down the street, close enough for a swim before breakfast. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the staff were helpful. A lovely choice in Kimolos.

Great value for money. The house is very well equipped and super clean, with its own rooftop and the beach just 5 meters away. Kimolos town is about a 10-minute walk, and it felt really nice and authentic compared with other towns or islands in the area. Definitely recommend.

The host met us at the ferry and was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. We stayed in Alpha, which feels more like a house than a hotel: the living room and bedroom are separate, both have air conditioning, and a lovely private courtyard with outdoor furniture sits between them. There’s also a terrace at the front with a table, chairs, and a sea view. The beach is just a minute down the steps. I’d definitely come back.

The room was tiny, and taking a shower was a real challenge. There wasn’t warm water available whenever we needed it, since we had to rely on a boiler. The property is beside a building site, so there was dirt and a lot of noise. The prices were ridiculously high for the accommodation and service we got.
